Child's Placement in a Tennessee Colony Preschool or Tennessee Colony ChildCare Program
Probationary Period
Most Tennessee Colony preschools and childcare programs consider the first 6 weeks of your child's attendance to be a probationary period to evaluate your Child’s adjustment. If the child care provider determines that it is unable to meet the needs of the your child, it may terminate your child's enrollment. This usually is done if the Tennessee Colony childcare provider or Tennessee Colony preschool program determines that it is not in the best interest of the program or other Children enrolled in the program to have the Child in attendance.
